global user exit variable??

Hi,

We can create a user exit variable by referring a characteristic (Eg 0CALDAY, 0CALMONTH).

Is it possible to create a global user exit variable which can be used for any characteristic.

For example I create a user exit variable 'ABC' , and I can use it on any characteristic globally???.
