It will be interesting to have a presentation which emphasizes how similar HANA is to current system so as to encourage the pool of developers to take the first step.
i have done some courses in open sap and it emphasizes a lot on how different and better it is on HANA( felt a little alien eventhough its a sap technology).
The transition is currently pictured very radical ( though its for better ), it kind of instilled a feeling of being anachronic for current developers( dinasour developer)

i truly appreciate the work done by open SAP team, Can't thank you guys enough
