Yes, it an be done in BEx in runtime. Please refer to Tammy's link above under the section Currency Translation in the Executed Query/Convert to Currency. In fact, for BEx, there is no need to even pull dimension 0CURRENCY nor its variable into the query, translation types and various currencies can be chosen in runtime. I don't think it is possible today to do it, just in case, hopefully some day in the future.
