Our final solution was based on a SAP BI SDK development that used a third-party java library. By this way we were finally able to generate PDF (and also words) document from WebI documents that contains HTML tags with no issue and get rid of our of the box limitations. Obvioulsy it requires a deep knowledge of Java to implement it.
