Thanks Brian.You are right. Tomcat uses the sapjvm located in the BOE folder.
I already have a certificate and I don't think it'll work with the APR connector because I don't have a keyfile, only a Java keystore.
So I guess I can try to install an updated JDK and configure Tomcat to use that or I have to request a new certificate. I'll try later today when no one is using the server.
